At work or at home, serious injuries can occur at any time. Be confident and competent to deal with these emergencies until a medical practitioner takes over.
You will learn how best to deal severe bleeding, fractures, and medical conditions.
We have a range of courses to suit your needs.
Currently there are two recognised first aid courses for the workplace: 'Occupational First Aid' (OFA) and 'First Aid Response' (FAR). The content is generally the same. The Health and Safety Authority currently recognise both courses. There is a move from 'Occupational First Aid' to 'First Aid Response' over the coming months. The OFA is certified by FETAC and the FAR is certified by the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).
Both courses are accredited first aid courses. If you need a recognised certified first aid course, this is the course for you. These are currenly the only courses recognised by the Health and Safety Authority. The course includes CFR course.
